Part of me wants to say that yes, Shinichi lived (and possibly put it off to unexplained or supernatural means)...and then he comes back to officially bite Gin...should I do a second part to this? *ponders* The next theme I was going to do could work for it quite nicely...

Shinichi didn't do that because there was nothing. And also because he's not Indiana Jones. And also because then he would technically be a killer himself if he took Gin down with him, and that REALLY goes against his philosophy, ya know?
