Thank you! It's based on a game trilogy for the Nintendo DS--only the first one has been released State-side as yet, but it sounds like we'll be getting the second one within the next couple of of months, yays!

The landlady is someone I made up, just because I needed a female character, and there really aren't any who could be used like that as yet XD And hey, Riddle the Cat wasn't found on the doorstep--he was already inside the house when Layton got him ^_~
